Fellowships
Overview
The Film Study Center (FSC) offers fellowships to both internationally eminent and emerging filmmakers, video artists, sound artists, and photographers whose creative projects seek to interpret the world, especially the fabric of human existence and cultural difference, through moving and still images and sounds.
It supports fellows with grants, use of its film, video, and photographic equipment, facilities, technical assistance, and involvement in a community of fellow artists.
Fellowships at the Film Study Center are of various kinds, of which some are by nomination only and some by application. Each has specific guidelines for eligibility.
FSC-Harvard Fellowships as well as FSC-Radcliffe Fellowships are by application, with annual deadlines. The annual application deadline for FSC-Radcliffe Fellowships is in the fall, usually October. The FSC-Harvard Fellowship deadline is February 15, 2013.
McMillan-Stewart and Robert Fulton Fellows are selected by a committee of practitioners and theorists and are by nomination only.
For more information, choose from the Fellowships menu on the right. Information about current and past fellows and their projects can be found in Fellows.
